2026 Indiana Walk and Bike Summit
Thank you for joining us on May 5 & 6 at the Indiana Walk & Bike Summit at the Omni Severin Hotel in downtown Indy. We enjoyed two days of bold ideas, mobile workshops, networking, and inspiring voices, all focused on creating safer, more walkable and bikeable communities.
Information about the Summit’s keynote speakers is listed below.
May 5: Charles T. Brown, MPA, CPD
A military veteran & subject matter expert on transportation and mobility, and an adjunct professor for the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. He is a certified instructor with the League of American Bicyclists and received a Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Professional Designation (CPD) from the National Institute on Crime Prevention.
May 6: Ben Sollee
An acclaimed cellist from Kentucky, Ben says he gained a sense of freedom growing up in Lexington on his bicycle. Ben now tours by bicycle and will share his experiences and perspective visiting cities around the country by bike. His presentation will incorporate a musical performance with discussions about bicycling infrastructure and community.
